Hello everyone. Long time no see. I'm pretty happy to be "back in black" after an affair with iOS from mid March until last week when I found a great deal on my new z10. I don't really have any complaints about the iPhone and it has some great apps for sure. For me tho, the os got very boring even after the iOS 7 release. So far I'm loving bb10 and the z10 is a great device from what I can tell so far also. When BBM was released and I got a taste of what I was missing I immediately went on the hunt for a Berry with the flashing red L.E.D. and the awesome push notifications I had grown accustom to over the years past. I'm looking forward to learning how to sideload apps on this thing, as there are a few that I feel I might miss. Anyway, I'm looking forward to being back on the forums and learning about all the fun I've missed over the past 6+ months. Cheers!

Grab a screen protector if you haven't already! In my personal experience iPhone screens are tougher than Z10 screens for scratch resistance.

Your a perfect example of users who left BlackBerry for iOS or Android, have downloaded cross-platform BBM and are now wanting to check out the new devices.

This is why BBM going cross-platform is the best decision BlackBerry ever made. Now all they have to do is generate some service revenue from iOS and Android BBM users and we'll be good to go.

Welcome back. I must say, the BB10 experience just keeps getting better. What is great over iOS (I have my affair with an ipad 4 for about 6 months), is that you can do what you want (sideload, load files, load movies, load music, connect to any cloud services, etc) and you have a OS that was designed from the ground up to be intuitive and modern. If you were moving to a smartphone today (not moving from iOS or Android) bb10 would be far more intuitive than iOS.

Have fun. Welcome to those not blinded by marketing. BB sure does not have any of that. For such a great product, their marketing sucks.

Welcome Back I've had my Z10 for 3 months and loving it. There are plenty of threads here to guide you & I learn more about my Z10 everyday and the people here on the Crackberry forums are great to answer questions. Just go updated to 10.2 .0.424 last night.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I got the update notification the day I got the phone (Thursday). So I can't comment whether I do of don't like it because I don't know the difference. I think I will pick up a screen protector for it and maybe a case too. I was relying on the Otterbox Defender for my iPhone and might go that route again as long as nobody changes my mind first. It's looking like I may need to pick up a spare battery as well. :/ cheers.
