    I don't understand all of these posts. I have not experienced problems and my Z10 has been dependable .

    I'd rather have something now than a few years of delays on top of all the previous deadlines.

    Bugs happen, but releases are more important.

    I don't think anyone purposely puts bugs in their software.... But I get what you mean. Every first generation product has some problems, even cars.
    But my experience is pretty much bug free, minus a few very very minor glitches.

    My z10 has been very stable. If you want a bug free phone, better get an analog land line.

    No OS will ever be perfect.

    I have had a handful of minor glitches but over all very reliable.

    As to why they released a phone with glitches and bugs?
    Because they wanted to give the competition a sporting chance.

    Got my z10 a week ago was really happy cus I love BlackBerry every thing was going well updated it with the new os which is 10.1.0.273 my device is STL 100-1. After 3 days d 1st problem was the sound it happened @ night was really vexed cus I never thought about it having problems all of a sudden I browsed the net looking for what to do saw different post but it didn't help so I left it over night with regrets it came bak in d morning tho in summary dts has been the problem ever since please do any expert have a solution to this problem cus to b frank am frustrated already making me regret why I got d phone in the 1st place

    Quite frankly, the Z10 and BB10 came out much better than I expected based on my experience with the Playbook. So far, the handset quality is better the my Bold 9900 as well. The OS seems to have less issues than the Android running on my wife's Samsung S4 and I find myself more irritated with my iPad OS than the Z10. Install a brand new leak like 10.2 then you might have some room to complain

    Having said all of that, I'm still pissed at Blackberry and won't buy another product from them because they haven't completed the Playbook and produced a bridge for my Z10. Finish what you said you would Blackberry!!

    Femi,

    You will need to do better at explaining your problem. Second, if you just purchased it, take it back to the store and ask for a new one. Why even try to trouble shoot the problem.

    That's a hardware problem. Surely you messed something up because it's working because. Take it back where you bought it and ask for replacement or they should fix it.

    I've been defending BlackBerry from everything anyone says. But I can understand some people's frustration. Although some are sort of petty and fixable, others aren't. I now have a Z10 that didn't make it to 4 months, with BlackBerry refusing to assist me. But still, the Z10 is an awesome device for however long you get it to run.

    That's not an OS issue or a bug...its a hardware problem.
    It's not an engine issue if you get a flat tire.

    You may have a defective product or you may not know how to use it. Tell us what troubleshooting steps you've taken. Have you rebooted the phone? Have you adjust the volume? Does the speakerphone work when you're on a phone call?

    Also, the title of this thread is off the mark. I say this based on my experience with my Z10 since February.

    I have done all possible steps I have checked the volume adjusted it up and down hard reset checked for new OS it keeps saying you have the latest software installed there is nothing I have not tried

    You aren't understanding a thing that we just said... it's not a software or OS problem.... you have a broken phone get it replaced...

    I laugh at these people who seem to have confused a legitimate OS or hardware problem (that is, something occurring in ALL phones) with their own ignorance or a simple defective phone. My phone works like a dream.
