Of late the Facebook App on my Z10 more and more goes to the "there is a problem connecting" screen when I try to open it. I know this problem has been common since the release but, for me at least, its happening more and more. In fact in the past 3 days its happened each day and for hours and hours. Anyone else seeing the same issue and/or does anyone have a fix or idea whats going on with this?

Hmm. Have you considered deleting the Facebook app and then reloading it (unfortunately I have no idea if deleting the app clears out the configuration or not). Also, have you confirmed that you've a solid network connection? I find that if I lose connection, take an action in the Facebook app, and then regain connection, the app doesn't realize that my connection situation has changed; I have to close and restart it.

Yes, Facebook app for Z10 updated is damaged. I went to Facebook website and no problem there.

Also have two other major complaints about Hub and photos.

Love my Z10 but am infuriated by the deadends and arbitrary functioning of major applications, including the hub. So far two strikes. I still have 2 weeks left to return device. Look for my complaints in Hub and Photos. Robert

I find myself going back to my SG3 for Facebook. This sucks since its not only for personal use, i also manage a page :/

Im not really into Facebook on bb10 browser either cos it doesnt customise the sidebar as per how i set them on the desktop site.

Yea its frustrating. Im not a huge "facebooker" but really the randomness of when it works and when it doesnt is puzzling. I have deleted and re-installed.... Same nonsense. Im considering just bookmarking the site on browser but....

Well, I have no idea with your Z10 but mine is through AT&T and version 10.1.0.282 (side-load) and it is fine with Facebook app. I have one time that it says not able to comment from the HUB since I have the Z10 which to me is nothing really wrong with that. Most of the time when people comment on my Facebook posting, I don't have to open Facebook app to reply, just post back from the HUB.

I get exactly the same. As you say, it's seemed to fade, rather than just fail. I can never open the notification link from hub and get the page I want. I have to access it through the facebook app notification instead. Not great.

The trouble with Facebook is they are constantly tweaking their site and that affects the BlackBerry OS app. I guess they should update the app every couple of weeks to keep it working but don't hold your breath.

Same problems: very laggy, won't load half the time, "sorry, an error has occurred" when trying to upload pics or check in, etc.

This issue has something to do with someone liking a post on their timeline. It usually clears up after a day or so. Google the BB10 FaceBook issue. I found the answer there.

I've lost access to my messages within the app and I don't receive new messages in the Hub. All other functionality seems to be there but I'm not much of a Facebook user and only use messages.

Messages do appear on the desktop and mobile websites.
