The Z10 has expandable storage through the memory card. Does this mean in theory its merging together with the internal to create a joint memory. I ask this because in Link it says I have the same amount of free space as I do on the internal and card together. My main question is though does this mean the internal storage fills up first and then goes on to the memory card when syncing music for example?

The sd card is treated separately. Downloaded programs only install on the internal memory and not the sd card. The reason for that is due to copyright issues etc. The sd card is used for all of ones personal media and pictures etc...

While logically the memory is combined, but technically only certain types of content can exist on the sd card. From my limited understanding of course.

dcwbearsaint has it correct, apps are only installed on the internal, anything else can be put to the sd card. So my advice, stick your movies and your music on the sd card and youll never worry about your apps having room.

I've read a mixed of reviews regarding the maximum expendable storage. The spec said, "Expandable memory
Removable microSD memory card – slot under battery door (Up to 32 GB)". However, I read some posts here said they were able use a 64GB. How is that possible? It's like you're installing 8GB of ram on a 32 bit windows OS PC.
Who is right and who is wrong here? The spec is wrong or the users are lying?
