Has anyone used evernote on their z10 yet? I'm curious to see what it's like.

I use the Remember app but not Evernote directly. Not sure if that's what you meant or not. Remember is cool but it lacks the formatting when exporting to Evernote. ie: check marks, links etc. get mangled. Just plain text transfers.

No, I meant Evernote itself, independent of the reminders app. I would also like to know how else it is integrated in the os and when connected to the hub. Thanks.

I just "ported" the android version by converting the .apk downloaded from here:

    Download Evernote 4.3.5.apk Android app

    - Installed it using ddpb, to my z10, launched the app and logged in to evernote on the 10 successfully, so far.

The website used to upload the.apk file for conversion to .bar file is here:

    apk2bar.unker.net

If my links don't work just search crackberry for better instructions. Happy converting!

Evernote will have an official app, but for now I installed the .bar. Remember is cool too for sure. Love this phone.

So as of right now, there is no native Evernote?

Unrelated but I'm just testing 'whatsapp' and so far so good. I had to opt for the phone call verification option because the sms didn't work.

I should have searched blackberry world first. But, I didn't. Now I will though. I have the PlayBook official app, which is why I said they'll have one. The only difference will be the Hub integration. The Hub integration will be a HUGE benefit. For now, the android app is sorta cool. Peace.

Disappointing Evernote doesn't have an app yet although they support nearly all platforms including the PlayBook. Did you try to install the PlayBook one? I am sure it can do better than the Android one.

Go to "accounts" and you can set it up. Not the app though

LOL whatsapp works like a charm.

Remember, these apps don't have hub support, but they still work, so far. What's app is 99 cents per year after the first free year.

Did I miss something? But this thread didn't mention Whatsapp at all, did it?

The PlayBook evernote did not show up in 'my world', but a bunch of others did show up. Strange. I bet it's coming soon though.

No, you didn't miss anything. I just mentioned it because the thread indirectly speaks on apps and porting, therefore I felt it would be okay to mention it. Not meant to confuse anybody, but I can't help that part only the confused can. Not saying you're confused either, lol... peace

Okay. So what can be accomplished by having Evernote integrated into the hub? I'm just trying to understand the purpose because I don't see the logic behind that and what it would do.

If you configure your Evernote account, through the Hub or Options->Accounts you should see a green folder with <username's> notebook and the Evernote logo in the Remember application. Cloud integration without an 'overt' application just like Box.

I'm using it, the side loaded version. Works ok till they have a bb native version finished.

I've read that it's not as good as Evernote though. This bothers me because I use Evernote a lot. A lot a lot.
