    Sometimes my loudspeaker on my Z10 sounds like something is wrong with it. It seems loud and muffled and/or distorted.

    Anyone encounter this?

    Other times it's perfectly fine. It's as if it's a bug in the device or it's software or something...

    I believe mine has deteriorated quite significantly however I've washed it in Alcohol gel a few times *blush*.

    Download Blackberry Virtual Expert (it may be included in newer versions of the OS). It contains a series of tests.

    It seems the speaker phone portion of the sound is static sounding. Very distorted. The keyboard sounds are a bit messed up too. The earpiece sound is OK though.
