Id the new bbm in bb10 encrypted, does it allow our telco to read its content since it doesn't route thru blackberry anymore.

BBM has always been encrypted with a public encryption key. Any company with the hardware in place can read the BBM messages. The only time that it cannot be read is when going through BES with private encryption enabled. Of course that also disables the ability to BBM outside the company BES system.
