Is there a way to delete all emails, without them being deleted on your email online?
On other blackberry's it would give you the option for Handheld and Inbox and/or just handheld and I want to just clear my messages out to make the phone run smoother.

Loaded the latest leaked OS last night, noticed today it has the option to delete on handheld, or on handheld + server.

Okay, and just so I make sure I get it right, can you walk me through the steps of loading the OS on the phone. And what is the latest OS you got?

That prompt screen shows up when you DELETE ONE message. But I'm not sure that it works if you select multiple messages? There is no similar prompt screen when you select multiple messages and then press the Delete icon (button).

I was tediously removing them one at a time yesterday since I was not confident that I would not be removing them from the server if I selected multiples. I guess I can try with 3 or 4???????????

Just tried with multiple emails. I did not get the option to delete on handheld or handheld+server.

Checked email via computer and they did not delete from server, only handheld when multiple were selected.

Loading leaked OS is fairly easy.

    - Perform full backup using BlackBerry link.

    - Download the OS for your version linked in above post Legend 1925. (stl100-1,2,3 etc) info can be found in settings --> about.

    - Unzip the downloaded OS, and run the application. A black box will appear and ask for your device password, enter it. After a few minutes, phone will restart.

    - Unplug USB when the phone restarts and the new OS starts to load, go through the setup of the phone, wifi, language etc.

    - Plug phone back in and load backup from BlackBerry link. You will need to redo your password for Facebook, email, twitter, etc.

    - Done

I, too, tried deleting a few at a time. Funny, on Gmail Online (web), the ones DELETED no longer showed in "MY INBOX" but when I selected to display "ALL MAIL" they were there.

I am a little bit confused. When I delete one E-Mail and choose just to delete it from the Hub, it will not delete it from the server - right? And if I choose, say, 10 E-Mails and try to delete them, the Z10 does not offer the option to just delete them from the Hub and therefore will delete them from the server?

If you choose to delete only from hub, the email will still be on the server. If you used your computer to check your email it will still be there, just no longer on the Z10.

When selecting multiple I have found it only deletes them from the Z10. I'm using Gmail. It may be different for another email provider.

Wow, Blackberry 10 just keeps getting better! I know there are tons of people, including myself, who need this feature!

On a side note, does anyone know how long the process is from a software leak being a leak to it becoming an official software update? Anyone know when this one becomes official, by any chance?
