And you don't have your email on other devices, etc.?
When you setup your email on your device was it as Exchange (Settings \ Add \ Advanced \ Exchange)?
It is using imap, I do have it on a home computer and playbook using imap. I may try disabling the playbook to see if that is the cause.

Make sure other emails in the email string/thread are not marked as "unread." Sometimes that'll cause my z10 to have sent emails marked as unread for me if I mark one of the emails in the string as unread (e.g, if I want to read it later on my computer).
I never mark emails unread, good tip though. I disabled my playbook to see what happens, I will disable them 1 by 1 and find it.
