A nice pair of BlackBerry branded buds with a mike came with my Z from AT&T. They work well.

I use Bose in ears. Bought them from the Verizon site. Works very well.

I've used SkullCandy, and Klipsch headphones with mics, they work great.

Pretty much any can work. I have a set of LGs and Samsungs (both from smartphones) and they work no problem.

I have used several including an adapter with my Bose Noise Cancelling headset. No problems. Even cheap airport-mall versions work.

My favourite are the ones that ship with the Q10 however.
