I uploaded a video to drop box and I'm wondering if there is a way to send a link from my z10 to someone to view the video like I can from my computer?

I'm also interested. So far haven't found a way. Always have to log on via the browser or pc to get a link to share.

I use an app called PlayCloud. There is a free and a paid version. I have the paid version and it manages DropBoz, Box and SkyDrive accounts plus a ton more! From PlayCloud I open a file in the Public folder of Dropbox and I can send the link via email, text, post it, bbm, etc. I tried it and it works. You don't need PlayCloud to retrieve the file.

There must be a way to do the same with DropBox. But if not, get the free version of PlayCloud and try it.

Like most things in BB10, Dropbox integration is a little half-baked.

Sorry OP only way I know of currently is via the browser.
But everyone says PlayCloud works great and the Dev is active in the forums

What I like about PlayCloud is it puts all your cloud storage services right there in one app on the phone. Makes it a piece of cake to copy/paste documents and files from cloud to phone and back again.

I wish those features were baked into the OS as PlayCloud can't be invoked as the default file manager by applications. Maybe this will come later?

Sideload the android version and you will be able to share the link like on the browser

When going through file manager, I simply press and hold whatever it is I want to share... the share option is on the sidebar menu.

Indeed, with PlayCloud, you can do it.

It's the main raison why I have written this application. I want to share easily my media.

Also, PlayCloud permits to print and I'm working to improve the support to be as AirPrint

Soon new features will be added to PlayCloud...

I'd like to replace the default file browser. In waiting, you can invoke PlayCloud from an other application to share documents.

At PlayCloud you need to double or triple tap a folder and wait for five seconds until it opens it. Argh.

Not at all !

First tap : select the item
Second tap : open the item

It's the default behavior ; but you can change it in the account settings. If you prefer open at the first tap.

And 5 seconds to open a folder... you have a bad network :/

Browsing cache and synchronisation is planned and incoming.

But at the moment, I'm working on the printer support...
