DPC Watchdog Violation errors were common on Windows 8.0 and/or USB3.0 ports.

Make sure you have the latest BlackBerry Link and all Windows updates. What version of Windows are you running?

I had that same issue, and what I did to resolve it is that every time I connected my Z10 my pc I would disconnect the Internet or go in airplane mode. That did the trick for me, since I didn't need the Internet once I've download all the files I needed to sideload or whatever you do. Let me knowing of if that did the trick!

    Thanks a lot guys..
I dont install a blackberry link yet.

Actually I just wanted to sideload over the chrome, so I thought I don't need to install BlackBerry Link.

I'll try to install it first, then I'll tell you later.

You can sideload with Chrome using Wi-Fi, which would sidestep the need to install BlackBerry Link; you just need to save your device's current IP address in the PlayBook Manager extension and click to use. But for accessing via USB port BlackBerry Link is a necessary install, unless you're just using a port to charge from.

I used to have this issue, another reason why I regret updating to 8/8.1. Anyway I found like thurask said it was the USB 3 ports causing the issue. It would occur randomly even if I was just connecting the phone to the pc to charge it. It's why it took me so long to load a leak, I was worried I'd get the BSOD half way through the autoloader!

Luckily my MOBO has ports for USB 2 as well and connecting the phone to the pc there has given me no issues whatsoever.

Not like that. You add them via the Playbook Manager. Then, click whichever IP address shows in Settings -> About -> Network. See below for example. I would click the last link I have listed since that's where my device is.
