On 9900 you could see your e-mails on your dash monitor and have BMW actually read it off to you, and had a few other planned features.
Has anyone who owns a BMW paired Z10 with onboard computer to see what is supported?

Yes it is supported. Emails, texts and phone book transfer.

Hi, I got my Z10 and confirmed that it does transfer Contacts, Calls, E-Mails, and Text Messages to console for BMW to read back to you. (PS: Z10 went back, no more.. )
It is done via Bluetooth. There is a USB port, but BMW Apps (Add-On to the BMW iDrive System) supports only iPhone, adding ability to watch videos that are on your phone, use pandora, more apps, etc.. You can also get Docking Station for your Blackberry, which supports charging and supposed to enhance the signal by using car's antenna, but that thing costs over $150, and not available for Z10 (or certain 99xx) yet.

However, I have one major complaint about the operation, the moment I get in the car, (Both Z10 and 9700 does this, and I assume 9900 will, too) it starts playing music from my music app. Does anyone know how to prevent it from doing that? I want to listen to Pandora or TuneIn but it immediately starts playing back local music on the phone! Then I have to navigate, stop the music (there is no stop button for BT audio on vehicles) then go play the pandora/tunein/slacker, etc.. The only way to fix it is to keep the memory card blank, with no music on it.
