I notice that when my phone is charging using OEM BB charger, it gives out like a hisss noise.

I suspect it is the charger because when I use the same charger with my nexus 7 tab, the tab gives out hiss noise as well (from the speaker).

I wonder what cause it.

just read online (google) that it can be due to bad grounding. I wonder if it's the phone or the charger.

Yes it happens to me too when charging overnight. There's another thread on this somewhere but basically it's harmless was the tech community's verdict.

I hear this from almost all of my electronic devices when charging. My wife's Bold 9900 is by far the worst. I often have to unplug it at night or else I can't sleep. Don't expect many to report this though as this "hiss" you are mentioning is very high frequency and most people are deaf to it, especially 20+ years old. I only know one other person besides me that can hear these and is over 30 like me. The worst are TVs with tubes or panels that are going bad, and batteries...the whine, it drives me nuts.

I also am not sure if this is comming from the speaker...I'd say it's from the battery/charging circuitry.

Yep mine does it too. It is much worse I find when the phone is fully charged or close to it. It is the charger in my case, a high pitched whine/hiss. Doesn't do it with the playbook charger, just the stock z10 charger.
