I am sure most of you know what I mean. The little black box with the arrow showing when data was being sent or received on the carriers signal level.

I for one used to be able to tell when I was getting a call/text before it came through and it's one of things I really miss from OS7.1

lol i def do miss that !!! plus you see if there is anything uploading or downloading, with this you dont know whats running in the bg, a quick way to check, may be we will get an app for that.

Bringing back the little Transmit/Receive arrow was the suggestion I left in the the thread about the tweaks we'd like to see in BB10 thread. I instinctively look for it every time I'm doing anything data related. Most of the time the whole status bar is hidden now, but man I want that arrow back. That's a signature BlackBerry feature going back to Day 1. I can't understand why they got rid of it.

Oh hail no I don't miss it. When my phone would freeze the arrows continue and confuse the eff out of my. I would sit for a few min and arrows move but nothing else. Guess I gotta hit alt shift delete. Plz don't bring it back.

I do rather miss it, but to be honest it's probably a good idea it's gone. I spent too much time staring at my phone after sending messages instead of putting it in my pocket.

Argh! I've just filled in a survey on blackberry beta zone and it asked me for 3 things I wanted to see on the bb10. I was struggling to think of a 3rd one so I put something like "More apps". Should have put this data arrow down instead!

im glad to see the data arrows gone. Assuming you have bars, there is no reason why you should feel the need to know if its WORKING. The arrows were really just a source of aggravation where you would stare at the phone waiting for the arrows to go away and be replaced by your slow-loading data. It was a handy feature in the old os, but isnt needed any longer

I miss the data arrows, as several other posters have said, it was a visual that let you know that data was moving. If there is a poll, I vote to bring them back.
