Open properties using file manager then change its extension after u are done with it(if u know what I mean). Simply delete the .mp4 or .avi or whatever its extension. And put it back when u want to watch it.

I don't have it but read about it:

BlackBerry World - Hide Files For BlackBerry 10
I did have it at one point, I found that at one point it was actually deleting pics from my phone. The Dev for this app actually warns about that so may wanna back them up.

Plug device into computer. Create a porn folder and follow option 2 on this link http://webcazine.com/5899/how-to-cre...ndroid-device/

    ii. Using Windows PC

On your PC, launch the Notepad software.
Now, go to File > Save.
Enter .nomedia for the filename and select All Files for Save as type.
Connect your phone to the PC using the USB data cable.
Using the Windows Explorer, copy the .nomedia file from your PC to the folder that you want stop the media scanning.

    When browsing:
Browser settings -> Privacy and security -> private browsing on

    For saved files:
Appworld "Hide files", the program saves with the name "subscription" so it doesn't look suspicious and requires a username and password to open every time, hides all types of files.

Hmm. I've had this problem one thing I miss from legacy OS is being able to hide pictures in the file system. Least it's not as bad as apple put a pic on Ur iPhone and if u sync everything it ends up on the ipad an mac or pc aswell. That was awkward to say the least Damn you I cloud. Lol. I've tried moving pictures on bb10 but it's still in the picture app I've just giving up saving pictures that will get me trouble. Lol

On the file explorer there is a folder on the device called protected media if u copy that folder and save it to your media card anything you put in there will not show on the device, the only way to view it is to go to the file explorer. Hope this helps

On iPhone, I change file permissions via the access control list (ACL) just like on Linux. Of course, blackberry has to prevent their phones from being this flexible when we need it most.

People are so funny and so opinionated on this subject... Who really cares how you may feel about adult content or his desire to hide it on his device. Would it be better if his wife was okay with it, but he wanted to keep his kids from stumbling upon it?

How about not being so uptight and just answer the question?
