    This type and go feature can really be expanded... to sort of something like Google instant search. it can be : what was the scores last night for the game between... or gas price near me...

    The API can be opened to devs so they can feed type and go results from their apps.

    Running 10.1.0.1627 here on my Z10. To use Type and Go you have to either select the new search icon than came with the OS or select search in from the bottom status bar then you're good to go.

    That would be like Siri but in writing. Technically, type and go would be the voice recognition in writing. They could potentially just link type-and-go to their server that the voice recognition connects to.

    Exactly. Since voice recognition is still not 100% precise... this would maybe be much more useful.

    Maybe they need to rename the Z10 version Tap, Type & Go

    It's a pretty neat feature.
