So an issue that was even mentioned at the CB party in NY was that when you are charging in a cradle, only the Hub is in landscape (yes and the browser), but everything else isn't making the phone awkward when charging.

Does 10.1 fix this?

No. I'm thinking apps will have to have landscape coded individually.

Yep. If the app isn't coded to work landscape, no amount of OS updates will make it work like that.

Well I mean like now, if I want to find a contact, the contacts stay portrait, so does the phone. Is that corrected?

Probably going to be fixed in 10.2 update... eventually icons will rotate to landscape in home screen...

Lack of landscape support is in my personal but strongly held opinion, one of the biggest issues with BB10. It is more than just wanting to use it and take advantage of this great screen how I wish...it gets in the way of Flow.

I want to be able to play a game or watch a video in landscape and peek into the hub or use Active Frames to switch apps without having to first rotate the blasted thing.

Please BBRY I hope you are listening! They added landscape support to Calendar which is great but it still isn't in Maps which is a huge drawback and disappointment for me. I wasn't expecting it to be implemented in the general OS GUI but I certainly hope that's the plan for 10.2.

Come on folks at BBRY, let's make Flow universal on the device!

This is one of my only complaints as well. It makes the flip and convertible shells seem dumb when utilizing their stands.
