This is more an opinion thing I guess, but I was wondering if CB Z10 users think a darker wallpaper saves on battery-life?

I'm not talking about wallpaper changers or an apps being left live - just normal, standard wallpapers.

I tend to have brighter 'papers on mine, but wondered if anyone had trialled using a black or maybe dark grey (etc.) wallpaper, and if this extended battery life at all? I guess it would on the Q10 (hence the dark theme), but not sure if it's also true for the Z...

the Q10 has an Amoled screen and the Z10 has an LCD which works differently so tbh i dont think it matters as both light and dark wallpapers would drain equally

You are correct in that there is a difference between the Q10 AMOLED screen and the Z10 (and the Q5) LCD screen. A brighter pixel on the Q10 uses more power. On the Z10/Q5 the difference (if there is one) is insignificant. So brighter wall paper on a Q10 will use more power than darker. How much more depends on a lot of factors.
