this is unbelievable. over the past 48 hours the display took up 95% of my battery , and the system took just udner half. what does the system even do? standby took up 31%. i dont play any games and my brightness is always on the lowest. the only things i really ever do on my phone is read magazines(crackberry inlcluded) and social network. im not running any leaked os or anything. anyone know why this is or how i can fix it?
    thanks

Yeah, that's not on a "100%". Switch to "since last charge", unless you wanna do some unnecessary math.

I noticed this too! Unplug it, then a couple minutes later it's at 97%! Very odd indeed, I have 4G HSPA where I live, and in the city it's 4G LTE, and it does this when I unplug the charger in both places! All since new update.

Could it be you're reading the chart wrong? It says you have one day and one hour left on your charge. I think it means if you do nothing else, your display will eat up 95% of that... That's if your display were on 100% of the time.

Really, I wasn't even lying. If you want to know how much battery your screen really takes on a single 100% charge, switch to "since last charge" and take a screenshot with your phone at 0%, with no in between charges from full to empty.

However, the screen is usually the biggest battery killer and there is nothing you can do about that.
