Well, i went to the cell phone section of one of our biggest malls here and disappointed to find out that with the over 30 stores i went to, only one is selling the Z10 and clearly when I asked, the sales person does not even know one thing about what they are selling. Not even a demo unit. When iphone was launched every single store was selling it ahead than the network providers.

On the two dominant carriers here, i am glad to see a prominent display offering the unit on one. No demo unit though. On the other carrier, there was a demo unit on the wall where the ad is but it is on the farthest corner you won't even notice it. Naturally it goes without saying no one is playing on the unit at all. No sales rep assisting. I went there and played with it, the sales rep was beside me but literally pretending not to see. I can only think he is afraid i will ask questions. Lol

If Blackberry wants Z10 to capture a certain percentage of non bb user market, they should invest on promoting it as well as having strong partnership with the providers.

Just my opinion though.

For Corporate before, yes but since the birth of too many android phones and also iphone, blackberry is not as famous anymore. Couple that with Blackberry closing their service center in the Philippines so basically you just bring your defective unit to the malls who offer repairs.

There is a very huge potential in this market but they need to do something about it in terms of advertisement. None whatsoever and a lot of people does not even know it exist nor how good it is. You ask the stores they sometimes ask you what z10?

Because if you are a new user, nobody from Globe will even approach you to show you how to use the unit. Second, it is at the far end away from the iphones and the samsungs.
