    Hey guys,

Ever since updating from the leaked 10.2.1 to the official 10.2.1 I've noticed an error where my active frames will sometimes close randomly. I've tried multiple restarts as well. Anyone else had this too?

Yeah same here. In not sure what's the deal... my memory is usually at 400-600 MB and never really going lower. I normally keep 3 active frames open. Fire chest data (its the updated version) bbm and battery x info. Oh and sometimes the music player

Rather than a bug it sounds like BlackBerry OS handling running out of memory with relative grace (Much better than Windows OS has ever managed to do).

So i think i have a solution to my problem. Has anyone downloaded the app "fire chest data usage"?

Although this app is said to have reportedly solved it's memory leak issue I've seen it use memory from 100 MB to 350 MB (more then the System uses in the device monitor)

After deleting it my memory remaining has become quite good and so far so good for no disappearing frames.

I think you can only have 8 active frames.

Yes you're correct, but the issue i was having was that all frames were closing even though I had 3 frames open

Does the problem seem resolved now you have uninstalled the offending app? It does sound a bit of a memory hog for the task it is doing.

Yup seems resolved to me. I think the OS was just shutting down frames to save memory as you said
