    Hello,

I just purchased a second hand BlackBerry Z10 today, it was working just fine but I wiped it and than unable to activate with my own account.
It is showing an error message "The BlackBerry Protect anti-theft feature is on. Please sign in the with the BlackBerry ID that was used to set up this device.
Than I contacted the old owner for the ID and the Password but he told that he is using the account with another BlackBerry device and there is added credit card so he is unable to provide me his BlackBerry ID but he told me if it's possible to disable this remotely he can do it for me.

So the question is, is it possible to disable the BlackBerry Protect on my device remotely from a computer?

    Thank you in advance.

Yes if he logons onto the BlackBerry Protect website, he can remove the "device" from his account.
