Guys, it maybe a stupid question, but what's the difference between Push being on and off?
As far as I know, Push maintains a constant connection with the server to ensure delivery of information right when it happens. And that consumes a lot of battery too.

What I'm wondering is, will I still be able to receive emails as fast as with Push turned on if I turned it off?

    Thanks!

With push turned off. Your email will be checked at the sync interval you set. So yes you will get you're emails.

Makes not difference to me as Yahoo sucks and either does not support push or it does not work.

So I take it I won't be able to receive emails right when they're received by the server if I turned off Push.
Let's say, my sync is set 4 hours, so I'll receive the emails every 4 hours. Am I right?

They're delivered to your email sever instantaneously but your device will handshake with the server only once every 4 hours to sync and reconcile.
