I swear my device just went into vibrate mode when I placed it face down on the table. I cannot repeat it though. In another thread I note issues with going from vibrate back to normal volume. Could there be some unfinished OS work in this area?

I have a feeling Nokia or Microsoft have that patent for their devices mine doesnt thats for sure

If your volume was all the way down and you accidentally pressed it when putting it face down, that will put it into vibrate. Nothing to do with the face down part though.

Yeah thanks. That's the part I'm unsure of. I'm using the defender case so I didn't really notice if I did. The case is pretty hefty there. And as mentioned I've already noticed a gremlin in the volume rocker. Anyway another one of life's mysteries.
