I'm just wondering if anybody is had the opportunity to check out the dictating feature in your Z10. You can find the dictating feature on your keyboard on the period key. Just press and hold the period key when entering text and the dictating feature pops up.

I found this feature works Very well even though I haven't used it before. Over time time, the text recognition software should more readily recognize your voice. So far I've noticed that mistakes are mostly punctuation and spacing and misspronunciation (user error).
The way it works now I wouldn't use it to send a text message I need to get out hurry, But I imagine over time it will be more intuitive and get my text messages done quicker.
Right now it takes some time to go over and fix mistakes but it's still faster than typing out the text.
Just kind of a cool feature. This thread was brought to you by the dictation feature.

I try and use this while driving if I "really" need to respond to something quickly. I try not to and make phone calls where I can while driving.

Not only am I British, I also have a stutter in my speech, there isn't any voice dictation / control software that I can use effectively.

It's pretty responsive even if I'm not speaking very clearly it does a accurate job writing down the text for me. Can't say I've used it that much. I guess I'm more used to typing it out but it's always a nice feature to have.

Holy Heck I didn't even know that feature was there. Seems to work ok with my Canadian non newfie accent. Thank button clicked.

I find it works best if I tell it the punctuation. As in " hello there comma" so it writes : hello there,

I tinkered with it when I got my phone in march. It's quite good but I have to speak slower and clearer for it to actually work properly for me.
