Okay! So, I plugged my z10 to my pc. And went on to the BBWORLD site. A dialogue box appeared. It said that my device is protected by a password. But, I don't have any password on my device. I have tried a security swipe, I have entered my BBID password. But nothing seems to work. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Vivek, welcome to the crackberry forums!

That's certainly odd.. have you tried setting a password and using that to see if it catches?

Thank you for the suggestion. But it didn't solve the problem.

Is it a corporate issued phone? Many companies have password requirements and a password may have been pushed out to your phone.

Have you sideloaded? When you put your phone in developer mode it prompts you for a password. Which then becomes the device password, if one was not already set to begin with.

No, I haven't side loaded anything. Development mode password is already set on my phone. I don't know it's password.

I have had that happen once or twice,

If I remember correctly. Make sure the correct device is showing in BlackBerry World and just click X to any password prompts.

Hope it works. It puzzled me when that showed
