I've noticed a lot of people using then device monitor to determine how long the battery will last... I'm attaching a series of screen shots from today, clearly showing that while the percentage is likely correct, the estimated life is not! Probably like those car gas "distance to empty" displays... calculating based on an instantaneous reading of usage...?

Well, yes, I guess if you continued doing whatever it was you had been doing for "some slice of time" the battery would last as long as predicted in each of those snapshots. But open a game and watch the numbers sink!

Agreed. Hey, it gets better... here's a later snapshot, giving me more time with less battery. Interesting I was in wifi all day, now on LTE for last hour with wifi turned on...
