A couple of friends who jumped on this got tracking numbers (standard shipping) but no track data yet. But they said that FedEX has some sort of weather warning up on the track page, so that may be responsible for it.

Not necessarily.
The receipt of a tracking number which doesn't resolve on FedEx's site only means that BB/DRG generated the shipping manifest. It does not mean they tendered the package to FedEx until you see an actual scan somewhere from them (e.g. the package shows up on their system.)
Ordered a white Z10 on 11/30. Still NOTHING from Digital River. I just called and they said they plan to have everything shipped out by NEXT Friday, 12/13. Unbelievable. I'm really irked. The woman said they're awaiting stock from Blackberry.
I ordered mine on the 2nd and still haven't received shipping notice. I just called the number and was also told that all remaining orders will be shipping on December 13. Worse, i was told that normal shipping (not expedited) time was 7 - 14 business days. When I asked if that meant it might not be here before Christmas, the operator could only say it depends where it was shipping from, and since she didn't know where it was shipping from, she couldn't tell me when to expect it. That means around four weeks from order until received. Not thrilled.
Like most people I ordered a Z10 on 12/2/13, standard shipping etc, and still no information regarding shipping. Also ordered a Seidio convert case for it from CB last night, again standard shipping. Now here is the thing.
1) From Blackberry/Digital River all I received was a thank you for purchasing and an invoice. no details at all about scheduled delivery details. And still no details.
2) From CB I got a thanks for buying email that included a estimated delivery window and a shipping date.
Oh by the way both sites indicated the product was in stock. I am betting I receive the case before I receive the phone, Can Blackberry really be that inefficient.

Case was delivered today 12/11/13 and I received a email from BB with tracking information. expected delivery date is stated as 12/17/13.
Well done CB and as for BB, well lets hope you make it by the 17th.

Even though I received my Z10 that I ordered on the 30th, I think it's wrong all the 2 day orders were shipped first. Regardless of the shipping choice, they should have been shipped as to when the order was placed. I feel for you folks...it's not right and it sucks big time.

Oh man, reading this thread is deja vu all over again. I remember a couple of years ago when I ordered my Playbook through shopblackberry.com they had very similar issues. Seemed like they were unprepared for the deluge of orders. I would hope that they were ready for this... but I guess not. I do remember that calling the Canadian customer service number was much more successful and less hold time than the US number.
Anyway, I feel for all of you waiting in limbo to get your Z10. If you're bored and want something to read through, here are some links to the threads from 12/2011 when we were all frustrated with the wait for our Playbooks.
LOL - I remember that debacle because I was one of the ones caught up in that mess. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Oh well, live and learn. Still waiting for news...and news...of my white Z10 ordered on the 30th.
I ordered mine on the 30th around 2pm and just received the shipping notification a few hours ago. I had it shipped with normal option. You never know. You may received an email soon...

Just wait another day. It also depends on what time your order was placed. My was 11/30 at 8.56AM Pacific. Receive shipping email 12/7 afternoon.
