Still a pretty **** poor way to do business. I was expecting when I ordered on Dec 2 that they had product in stock and it would ship out in next day, two at tops. I still haven't got my email, but I chose free ground shipping which would appear to put it at the back of the queue. Thankfully it is a gift and not needed for a couple weeks, but BlackBerry needs to learn to execute better in all aspects of business.

They refunded my PayPal on day 1. I emailed asking why, and they form replied that it was 1 of 4 reasons, neither of them could be true. I assumed it was 5% cash back promotion. Pissed me off, but I knew calling or emailing was useless.
Just check online. Yesterday, they promised it would be shipped today. As of 5:29 p.m. today, still not shipped. I'm beginning to wonder about this deal.
When I spoke with Digital River earlier to get an update on my order, they told me that they were planning to ship all orders out by End of Business Friday (12/6). If you don't have an email by Saturday, I'd follow up (assuming they are open on Saturday). They also told me that for those who paid via PayPal, the funds were taken out before shipping the device so that they could verify funds. I should have just paid with my credit card -_-;.

Good to know as I paid through PayPal, but they withdrawn the money right away. It wasn't Pending, it went straight to Sent Payment. So basically, all 2 day shipping is being sent out 1st. Then all standard shipping. And then all people who paid through PayPal. Damn
It appears the folks that paid for 2 day shipping received priority with their orders being shipped which I think is wrong...the shipping of the Z10's should have been shipped out based on when their order was submitted not whether they selected the free shipping offered or the upcharge for 2 day...I feel for the folks who haven't heard what their shipping status is. This was not handled well in my opinion.

I do agree with you, but to stop people from getting mad and sending angry "hey i paid extra to get mine here faster" emails they went that way. I'm sure most were under the impression that they would order and have it be shipped asap, but with this whole mess they had to reassess there shipping priorities. It was quite the mess but thankfully everybodys Z10 have shipped now.
It's 10:45 am on Friday, and my Z10 has not shipped. If I don't get my email today, I'm going to have a meltdown. I have my 32 gb memory card sitting here waiting to be installed.
Thanks for the information. STL 100-3 will be OK with me (when it will arrive one of these days.. er.. "soon", speaking the BlackBerry language.
A final note: I ordered my white Z10 on Nov.29 and up to now, 11:30 am of Dec 6, no word received, except a copy of my invoice. Luckily I always pay with credit card! Good to know.
I ordered on the 30th and chose standard shipping and I just got my shipping confirmation at 12:30 am 12/6. I don't have any tracking information when I try to track the package yet though
