    No but you could try a hard reset and see if that fixes it.

    How do you do a hard reset? And, if I do ... don't I lose all saved info and pictures?

    No a hard reboot restarts the phone. If you have a stl100-1 hold top button down until blue loading circle. If stl2,3,4 hold both volume keys until blue circle. You won't lose anything. Don't worry.
