    Off to the sunny states soon and I know this is probably really obvious, if I turn 'data services while roaming' off, but keep wifi on if I come into contact with any free wifi I can connect to the Internet and use WhatsApp without incurring any roaming charges as im not using a phone network. Sorry if I'm being a bit thick. Also would Bbm work over wifi or does that need a phone network. Thank you

    You'd not have roaming charges, and when I had an active BlackBerry, BBM did work over Wi-Fi.

    BlackBerry 10 do not require data services for the. BBM you can just turn wifi on
