I'm trying to control my data usage. I'm on AT&T with a Mobile Share plan. I'm trying to figure out what does turning Data Services off do? I turned it off but still seem to get mobile usage even though i'm home with Wifi. I can turn off the mobile share from the AT&T website but I think that makes the Z10 just a phone. Am I right with this?

Data services are your ATT network services. If you have wifi you can still use your phone at home yes. but if you leave wifi you will not be able to use your phone or get calls without your data services I believe. If you have wifi, you shouldn't be using any data from your plan. Is that what you are asking?

Yes, I do have Wifi but still see mobile usage. Didn't think I should see any when connected to Wifi, but I do. So I turned off data services which should prevent all mobile usage, right?

I think you may have something confused here. If you use wifi that will only cover your DATA portion, IE internet related. Email is also data related. Not phone minutes or text messages. Now if you also have the Allow BBM calls over the mobile network on that could be pulling from your data too.

Thanks on the BBM. I did have it pulling from my mobile services and I'll turn that off to see how that affects it.
