I enjoy mowing the lawn while pocket dialing half the people on my contact list on my Z10!

    No really!!

    Cheers

    Haha...I have a similar problem.

While playing soccer, I keep my Z10 in my left pocket...Every time I receive a call while running - I never hear it : Reason being: My phone goes into silent mode because the screen touches my shorts.

When I'm done playing I see a long list of missed calls!

I have a solution to your problem :: Go to settings > display and reduce the screen timeout to 10 seconds

Could lead to him finding the setup screen next time he picks the phone up. The cloth in the real issue.

I had the screen timeout at 30 seconds. Brought it down to 20 now.

I'm also using the picture password but I don't have that kicking into effect until 15 minutes.

Funny thing was that I guess it was on my missed calls screen cause it called back all the calls that I avoided answering. Lol

Put the phone in a leather pouch. The magnet shuts off the screen as soon as you insert the phone.

Click the power button to put the phone to sleep, then put it in your pocket.

Not sure if you tried it yet but try placing the phone with the screen facing the pants and not your skin. This seemed to helped me with this issue.

I have yet to experience the pocket dialling. However, I do have some very (not so) nice flashlight pictures.

Even if locked, it can dial the emergency number. I like a case with a sleep magnet.

My phone dials while being put into the holster. This problem sucks. Yes disable the swipe to wake. And then remember to press the top button before you touch your phone in anyway. Just looking at it wrong will have it dialing.

Some BlackBerry security. How about a phone that doesn't dial or take pictures every 10 seconds.

I really understand why people love their legacy devices. This OS isn't ready for the public. I want it to be damn well intentional to dial out.

BlackBerry 10 is just a disaster. I want the phone and camera icons GONE. I want it to be like trying to launch a nuclear missile to place a call. I want voice authorization or a retina scan.

I hope that the classic makes it so you have to intentionally press buttons and confirm before a call is placed.

If Android had a good keyboard I'd be so gone. There is no excuse for an OS that is this flaky.

For someone to have that many issues with a device, perhaps the problem doesn't lay with the device... just saying.

Yeah its just me. BlackBerry 10 is perfect and I'm incapable of using a phone.

I'll let ya know. I've purchased enough BlackBerry's to pay for Chen's daughters wedding. But what I love about people on Crackberry is how quickly they love to push people off the sinking ship.

If I loved a company I'd want to fix the issues and make a better OS and not blame the messenger.

You guys will probably get your wish - eventually I'll give up on BlackBerry and 4 or 5 users remaining can sit here and talk about how great you all are.

You'll be to wait a little bit. My Q5 hasn't arrived in the mail yet. I had time to complain about the Z10 and Z30. Need a little time to see how bad the Q5 pisses me off.

I'm just replying to the fact that you said if Android had a decent qwerty you'd be gone, well they do have some decent ones. There's no cliff jumping to be done, it's just a platform.

BB's work amazing for me vs the others so hence I stick with. They haven't cost me a small fortune and the past 3 phones I've had have cost me less than 1 iPhone new in its wrapper.

Scene: two guys or gals sitting in a bunker in Wyoming or the Ozarks. "I got word from Doggerz to launch a call, what about you?" "Not yet!" "Oh, here it comes, On count of 3 initiate call" "1, 2, 3.... there she dials.............."
