I was just wondering during if there are any ways to create new albums in the Pictures folder?
Currently I've got 2 albums. One is WhatsApp pics and the other is Pictures. But I'm unable to edit them or create new ones.. Anyone has any ideas on this?

You have to use the file manager. Yea, it sux that way, but it's the only thing I have been able to accomplish. Maybe there is another trick out there someone can share?

You can create photo albums using File Manager. Don't think there is a way to create albums using the Pictures app.

Yeah I've tried doing that actually.. but the new albums don't seem to be appearing in the Pictures app though..

Yeah, they have to be done in the file manager or on a computer.

NOTE that you can only create "albums" (folder) within the photos folder. Sounds confusing, but if you think of it as a directory it is simpler to understand.

The directory should read: device/photos and then your albums (or folders with pictures in them). Alternately it can say "media card/photos" and then your album folders (if you create an album or folder (subfolder) in an album folder, it will not separate those folders in the pictures app. See image below and hope it helps.

My 2 cents. You can not see the new album you created in the picture folder until you put something in it also. Your picture will not show an empty album
