    If you can get a good deal on 1 then go for it it's a great device even if it only gets you through the year I got mine off a friend for £5 with box and unused headphones and loving it. I only use it for calls texts BBM browsing a bit of YouTube and a gba emulator and that's it and it's great at doing those.

    No absolute need to power down for this but doesn't hurt to be extra cautious.
