Is there a way to delete contacts other than doing a complete reinstall?

Hold down the contact you with to delete and select trash can at lower right.

I guess you could try "syncing" with a BLANK account or Outlook where the BLANK takes precedence and erases all entries?

Go to settings, accounts, then look for three horizontal dots *** then clear local contacts
