    Is anyone that has a Verizon stl100-4 Z-10 having issues with apps that give you connection errors??? For example (side loaded apps); kik, skype and speed test will not connect when on mobile network. But work when I am connected to wifi. Native app such as poynt gives me the same error message. Anyone seeing this with their device. All these apps use to work and now they decided they don't want to anymore. Any ideas on how to solve this before I wipe the phone?? Let me know please.

    You can try a device reset. (NOT the same as a restart.)
    Hold down your top button for about 30 seconds. Keep pressing it down, ignoring onscreen countdown and restart option, BB splashscreen, black screen, red LED, and BB splashscreen again. I hold down that button until I see the blue startup icon.

    I believed that worked. Thanks a lot. What causes this to happen?? Will this happen. It is a bit of a pain to restart the device to make apps work.
