Should one drain the battery from time to time, and if so. Why.
    Thx

Just use your battery as if it was a Gameboy. The battery doesn't need any maintenance at all.

The thought of draining to zero every once and a while is to calibrate the battery software to know where the "0%" is. dont let my go down like this on purpose but it happens from time to time. I do agree that it helps the software especially if you are getting odd drain and such

Only if you feel the battery meter is off. The battery will be healthier with more frequent top-ups rather than deep discharges. The deep discharge will allow the software to re-learn your battery's capacity and better gauge what level of discharge you are at.

Software doesn't monitor where the "0%" is, if you are going to give advice at least know what you are talking about.

For all intensive purposes, the software does calculate several variables to obtain battery health which isn't a percentile and isn't something you need to worry about.

    No need to drain it.

    Edit: Calibration is a myth

Hence the title to the thread. I've only used frequent top ups, and total recharge time is very short.
