So I compared my Z(running leaked OS. 1047) against the 9900 Bold(latest official OS).
And this is what I got:
BlackBerry Z10: 1.25.54
BlackBerry 9900 Bold: 1.26
I used the same stopwatch for both. With the Z, I held the lock button and pressed restart but with the 9900 I did a battery pull.
Now I know that I have a leaked OS and it's not 100% stable, and I will try again with the official one. I just felt I should post it

I don't know where you got a 9900 that reboots that quickly. Mine sure as he'll never did

My 9930 rebooted rather quickly for a BBOS device. Under 2 minutes. My Z10 is around 1 minute 30 seconds which is way too long when compared to the competition. Another aspect about BB10 which makes the boot time worse than it is: it takes FOREVER for BlackBerry Hub to prepare. It's another 2 minutes on top of the boot time before I can really do anything.
It is true the hub takes extra time not very good if you are in a hurry
