I have been using it for a while and I have been finding it okay, but not amazing. What are your thoughts on it?

I'm not impressed. Sometimes it takes a while for the assistant to 'figure it out.' Other times it doesn't transcribe correctly. When I ask it to text somebody, it's a cumbersome process. I was hoping for something to save me time sometimes, but I find I end up just saying, "oh forget it, I'll just do it myself manually."

It's much better than the 10.2 voice control but really slow and I'm on 4G Internet. I still think siri is the best. But hey beggars can't be choosers it's decent anyway I like it.

I like it, helps me with little things like setting up meetings and setting alarms and reminders. Main negative thing is that it's not available in my native language, but then neither is siri... one of the main reasons I left apple. Hopefully BlackBerry will fix it before apple, think it could be a good sell argument in my country.

I find it disappointing. It's very slow even with WiFi. I don't understand the bad performance of this app because it looks great on the vast majority of the videos I've seen on YouTube...

I'm pretty happy with it, works great if you use it for setting reminders and appointments.

It's wonky and slow if you're using it for reading/sending texts and emails. But there have been situations driving that I found this functionality useful and worth the extra time.

I think for a first release it's decent. BUT, with everything BlackBerry (sadly), they are late to the party while bringing the 100th bag of ice instead of the much needed liquor...

I just hope they intend on adding/improving what they started. It could be a lot more efficient while adding some more features/abilities.

And while they're at it, they could add full BT profile support

I asked it to sing a song, courtesy of Cortana on my friend's Lumia 525. I asked BB Assistant to do the same and here is what I got "Searching the internet for sing a song"

P.S: She laughed at my BlackBerry Assistant.

You saw that one video from N4BB? Where that dude talks to Assistant on his Z30 and the response is almost instantaneous?
Whereas my Z10 on 3G and WiFi takes 5 seconds to process a response.

Maybe it's just the Z10 and the rest. Z30+ Passport is a different story?

Much better than what they had before. The problem is they combined the universal search with the voice command app.

Z10 and the Z30 has the same specs ain't they? So this ain't hardware, maybe a software issue that BlackBerry has completely ignored.

Do they have BlackBerry staffs in the forums?

Z30 and Z10 are not the same spec. compare the SoC including the gpus. Z30 is significantly better. It's a combination of hardware and software issue. For the high-end devices like Z30 and passport it may perform fast enough. But not for the devices below those two.

Can BBA be disabled and return back to the 10.2 style search?

I briefly played with the search on 10.3 and was stuck fiddling with BBA. All I want is the nice universal search of 10.2.

I use it often when I'm driving so I can do things hands free. Works well but isn't the fastest.

It blows Google Now out of the water when using my families androids and I'm not a fan of Siri either.
