So it's been about a year since I've owned a z10. I left because I was frustrated with the lack of apps and having to work around everything for a experience that is easy and fast on ios and Android. Other than that I loved bb 10, so now that the app situation has improved greatly I'm just wondering if there are tons of steps I need to take in order to get a app store on my device. I've heard snap, and the amazon app store now play nice. I just want the fastest most streamlined experience because installing apps should be that way lol. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Sideload snap - step one (Google to find it easy). Install apps with Snap - step 2.

    Easy Peezy! Welcome back!

Download snap, or gets you all the apps from the playstore! Or you can download amazon appstore which is amazing!

And with the unreleased 10.3, the phones ui has changed and is much better

As Rahul said, you can visit the Amazon app store using the Z10's browser and actually download and install their appstore. Then visit it and download apps.

Also, access to the Amazon app store will be integrated with OS10.3 (to be released Sept-November sometime along with the new devices).

If an app is compatible with BlackBerry Android runtime, and you have paid for it in Google Play, then you should be able to install it via Snap. Re updates, you would have to launch Snap and check for updates.

Look for the BB10/Playbook chrome extension. Gets no easier than that for sideloading.

As someone said - as far as the paid or apps that require account services, they can be hit and miss, but there are workarounds. BBRY ability to run droid apps is getting better and better with each update.

Android apps get stored in the device and you can access them through your PC, just copy the files and paste it in your BlackBerry, or you can just download snap or amazon
