My Z10 does not like the cold. When I expose my phone to -10C or colder my Z10 tends to turn off if the batter below 25%. Any one else noticing poor battery performance in the cold?

    Need some pow.

It isn't that the Z10 does not like the cold - in fact I'd wager that the phone performs better while cold. However, lithium performs poorly in the cold (some lithium batteries discharge completely when very cold). In fact, most batteries perform poorly in the cold.

Mine died out at 30% today but here in Edmonton it's -28 so idk lol.

When I got to school, a few minutes later, I was able to boot it up, it was weird.

I wonder if the thiness of the battery is the issue. Too large of surface area to volume ratio, the cold penetrates much too quickly. I never had that problem with the Torch.

    Need some pow.
