Is there any way to check with a simple swipe? (while one is in an app?)

Swipe Just a little bit to the top!
Or, if you're typing, type lt and check the space bar, then delete lt.

Well you can check the time from any app simply by swiping up slowly a bit and the time will be displayed on the top of the screen.

Such a good question. This is an only most stupid BB10 programming not to show date along with time while swiping up. Thanks for question but there is no answer *sad*

I don't know but I minimize app and swipe from the top to check date. You need 3 steps to come back to the opened app to check date.

Would be nice to have access to this while in apps. Works fine in text messaging when you swipe down slightly from the top.

I'd rather a battery percentage meter, since, well, I just need to see the date once through the day. It's stays the same for a pretty decent while.

    Thanks!
I am not like you who checks date only once a day. I keep forgetting which date is today! Sorry my brain!

You know, if on the home screen, you pull down, you get all the toggles with the date on top.

Wouldn't it be nice if we were able to drag it slightly so the date and carrier portion stayed fixed? That's an idea.

Like this, but without the extra black bar at the bottom:

If you use the "peek" gesture while in an app, the date is displayed in the hub at the top. So you could always just swipe up and to the right, check the date, and then reverse that to get back into the app. That's what I do.

Thanks dude. Very helpful. However you don't see it if you are in the home screen of HUB.
