My Z10 won't go no higher then 84%

I've used the charger that came with the phone
I've used 4 other BlackBerry cables but it still won't go higher than 84%

It will charge as normal but when it reaches 84% it stops

I think the end is near for my Z10

The Z10 is a great phone, if it's not a calibration issue, buy a new battery!! It has a removable battery for a reason. I bought the battery charger bundle for $25CA two years ago, it has to be cheaper than that by now.

The z10 was introduced into the market some... 2.5yrs ago, if memory serves me right.
Should you had got yours within 18mths time after the release, by now the originally bundled battery should be loosing it's charge capacity. It's the same even if you had got yours recently, brand new, unopened. As the bundled battery may age along with time.

Do this simple test, charge your battery under device power off mode. Which, once you plug your charger's cable, or supply thru computer, once the device detected and prompt you for either charging, syncing, or other options... press and hold the power button till it's totally off. Leave the cable attached, and wait till it boots into power off charging mode, where you will see amber light from the LED indicator blinks. Let your device charge until a stable green light from the LED.

Should your device feels warm even when you see a stable green light, it should be in between 80% charge~ 95% charge. Stable green light with device cooled down, that's roughly about 100%. Boot up and see whether you battery charge drops in a short period of time... if it does, your battery is confirmed reaching it's late stage of life...
