You can't unless your bank allows it. If I'm correct bank app would allow it or if the bank partnered with your carrier, then sim card will make it happen... nfc is a great thing to have, unfortunately the technology is not yet recognised enough by banks...
They made it work... this is something BlackBerry could have worked on, instead we have "stickers".
Not sure BlackBerry could have done that much. Only Apple have been able to really do it. And credit to them as well, but it takes a biggie to really drive something like that.

Even Apple is running into some snags with Rite Aid, Walmart, CVS and Best Buy.
BlackBerry does have NFC payment options. But they didn't have the clout to move the banks away from the idea of partnering with a specific carrier. Apple does. They really didn't innovate all that much other than walk into the room and say we're doing this, you can join in or be left behind.
this is a carrier issue, blackberry can release all of the payment apps they want but the carriers have to allow it. With ISIS ( now softcard) it only works on certain platforms ( there was an article a long time ago saying a third party WAS developing an app but who knows where that ended up). And this is the google wallet thing all over again, a lot of the handsets dont want to back a horse that is going to die. Apple pay will likely catch on more, but some companies are already backing their own versions ( to keep apple's fingers out of the pie, but its been reportedly hacked before release) and apple pay is having problems of their own.
I'd love to have NFC payment, I'd even go so far as to say I'd pre-load money onto a card ( kinda like the tim hortons app) to use it, but since my carrier has at least for the moment dumped Blackberry, the chances off it happening soon is pretty slim.
So, I recently bought a Telus NFC Sim... Thought it would unlock some features in Scotiabank or TD banking apps but that is not the case. It would be great if I could make payments with my phone... I could declutter my wallet. Anyone know of any good NFC payment apps?

As far as I know it's cibc visa and maybe scotia visa but cibc for sure, also tim Hortons card
Even with a Rogers NFC SIM, Scotiabank VISA payWave and Rogers Z30 running the updated Scotiabank app it still doesn't work for me. Just times out verifying my credit card.
I have the Virgin Mobile Sim/Royal Bank method of payment working on my Z10. I didn't even have an account at the Royal Bank until I found out this would work.
It is pretty neat, I wish more carriers/financial institutions would hop on board.
I was just at Home Depot yesterday and was able to use Apple Pay. The fewer retailers that have my actual credit card number the better, and I can track business expenses easily with Mint.com when the charge shows up.
