    I was having the same problem link wouldn't recognize my BBID.....i renamed my phone many frustrating hours later and BAM it restored.

    Edit something in Blackberry ID and save it.

    It worked for me.

    I removed check-box on "Receive promotions from BB partners", saved and have no more issues with BB Link!

    Yes, Security Wipe(10 minute), skip BBID sign-in during setup, sign in BBID in Setting, connect BB to BB link, Restore is working for me now, thanks guys!

    Ironically, my experience seems to indicate that re-running the Leak Autoloader will actually get you back to Square One faster than the Security Wipe.

    I lost about 75% of my apps in the 1443 leak. I did a backup, then update, then wipe, then restored it. They did not come back after the update.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?
