Can you please provide more details like which OS are you running and what is the file type you are trying to play etc?

Mind if I ask why, is this a regular problem with 1055?

is this the process i can use to sideload the bar file to my phone inorder for me to get my music player working again, As stated above am running OS10.2.1.1055, the reason why i ask because i heard somewhere that DPBB does not work on 10.2.1.1055
Yes that is the process you can use
My favorite method is the Chrome extension, but try and see what works for you

1.Install this extension on your Chrome pc Browser: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...ljnelbpblnikkp
2. Put your BlackBerry in development mode. To do this go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Development Mode, turn it on and enter a password (I recommend using your device password if you have it setup) and launch the extension
3. Now you have to enter your device hostname in the box. For this go to Settings > About > Network > look under WiFi or usb (the one your phone is connected to the pc with) and you input that exact IPv4 code into the box in the Chrome extension. You put in the code under the IPv4 with all the dots that are in between, but the slash and everything behind it needs to be left out. Save it and click it under 'Manage your device'.
4. Proceed anyway at the SSL error
5. Input the development mode password
6. Just drop the bar file on the page

One word of advice or caution: When you enable Development Mode you have to set a password. That PASSWORD will also become a Device Password (even if you did not have one). So be prepared to enter it when your device goes into Standby/Lock. The caution is that people casually create that password for Development Mode but then forget it and can't get into their phones. So you can either make sure that you remember it or, after you do your sideloading, Go in and Remove it (Security/Privacy - Disable Password).
