Weird problem : I had a duplicate Yahoo account in my hub. I tried to delete but it won't go away. I've gone as far as deleting all my email accounts and Facebook and it still shows up. I've reboot, done a battery pull but nothing seems to work.
When info into the hub and see the account, it shows the email titles but I get an error when trying to read the message.
In the hub settings and email setup pages the account no longer exists. It just remains in the hub.

How do I get rid of it without a device wipe or reset?

try reinstalling, restarting, disable in the hub, deletefrom bb world, and then hard restarting (two volume keys).

if not, the only other thing id do is a wipe.

Did you delete the account from Settings > Accounts, select the account, tap delete at bottom of the screen? Then reboot by pressing and holding the up/down volume keys until the device powers down, powers up, then release after the startup animation begins?

Also, what OS version are you running? Settings > About (or type "myver" in any text field.)

I have a similar issue with a duplicate Gmail account showing up in my Hub. The account is no longer listed in the System Settings - Accounts or in the Hub Settings. I have hard restarted and battery pulled with no effect. I was also looking for a solution without performing a device security wipe but have not found a solution. Since that duplicate Gmail account does show up in the Hub Management, I just toggle the display to off. Not really a big deal, more of an annoyance. I am hoping the next OS update to 10.2 will remove it as I really do not have the time to wipe my device and start over...

I solved this by backing up just the settings and then restoring.
That meant though that I had to input all my passwords again.
