I went for the CrackBerry accessory sale over the holidays and got a sweet BT headset from Plantronics.

While waiting for it to be delivered, I installed 1925. And yes I did the BlackBerry Link restore and it worked perfectly.

Just tore it out of the shrink wrap and pressed the power button, paired immediately with the Z10.

Audio quality is important for me so I put on some Bob Dylan cuz I know how good the song should sound based on vinyl. A high standard. And I have to say, these little babies rock out. And sound oh so sweet. Next a little opera, then maybe some AC/DC. I'll report back to yall.

I needed to call my mom. Pulled up the phone and placed the call. The music was muted. Talk talk talk. Ended the call and back to Bob. As I was talking to my mom, in comes a bbm. I answered it.

I knew it was going to be sweet. I just didn't know it would be this sweet.

Just a FYI, if you have a Fry's locally, they have the Moto Whisper on sale for $99. It is a good headset. Full HD. No wind noise problems with the microphone. The only weakness is it doesn't fit into the ear canal like modern ear buds (Entymotic style). I'm going to get my ear molded to get a tight fit. I read about this on the Howard Forum. The Whisper plays plenty loud, but a rather have a tighter fit and use less volume. I only had an ambient noise issue when walking on a sidewalk near a busy street. The person on the other end could hear me fine.

This headset is normally around $140 to $150.

Yeah I should have posted the model. Here it is...

    Plantronics BackBeat Go 2
    Designed in Santa Cruz, CA
    Manufactured in Malaysia

I wasn't trying to promote it or sell it to you... I'm sure other models like Motor, Jabra etc are good too... I just wanted to let the forum folk know how well it works, how surprised I was that the setup was so easy and quick. Plus I've read a few people reporting they can't get their BT headset to work with 1925. This one works perfectly!!!

I was in the family room listening to music and the family came home and said they called and called and wondered where I was. I couldn't hear a thing till they walked right in front of me. Maybe it's too good LOL

Note: these are in-ear-canal "bud" style, not over the ear and not resting in the outer ear like the included BlackBerry headset. These ones don't have "active" electronic noise cancellation like some other models but it seems good enough for me. Seriously didn't hear a thing till they were right in front of me LOL

The fit isn't as comfy as my Klipsch wired headset but very close.
